You'll run through Newcastle city centre towards the River Tyne crossing the iconic Tyne Bridge with thousands of other runners. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll get a glimpse of and enjoy the thrilling sensation of the Red Arrows passing overhead!
The home straight takes you along the sea front and once you've crossed that finish line, #TeamMND will be there to celebrate with you!

There are two ways you can join #TeamMND. Register for one of our charity places or join the team with your own place that you've got through the public ballot.
Charity places have now sold out. Please join the waitling list to be the first hear if and when a space becomes available.

I use a wheelchair, can I take part?
Great North Run is a wheelchair accessible event. Please contact our Fundraising Team on 01604 611860 or email fundraising@mndassociation.org for further information about how you can register.

You can keep up to date with event information on the Great North Run website.
Can I take part if i'm under 18?
If you are under 17, Great North Run hold a Junior and Mini event, you can find out more infomation here.
I'm no longer able to take part in the event, what shall I do?

Will you be there on the day?
Yes, our #TeamMND event crew will be in the charity village before and after the race. Find us in avenue C, tent 42. Please come along as we'd love to say thank you and celebrate your achievements. We'll have plenty of post run refreshments too!
