Interviewing people with MND, caregivers and healthcare professionals to learn about their views and concerns with computer aided communication technology.

The purpose of this survey is to understand the opinions, perspectives, and concerns regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. This survey aims to gather insights from individuals who rely on AAC, their communication partners, caregivers, and clinical staff. This research seeks to gain a deeper understanding of the potential benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations associated with integrating AI into AAC systems, with the ultimate goal of insuring that the opinion of people with ALS/MND who rely on AAC is incorporated into the design of AAC systems.
