MND Association membership is one of the best ways you can help in the fight against motor neurone disease (MND), while getting the support you need too.
It’s membership, your way. Whether you are looking for advice and information, or you want to share your story or skills to help others, you can join a supportive community that’s together for the good days – and the bad ones.
As a member you’ll be alongside others, each working together towards a common goal and having your voices heard. You’ll also be the first to know whenever we take steps forward. You’ll receive our regular Thumb Print magazine, and you’ll have the chance to get involved in exclusive membership events too.
Not only that, by choosing to pay for your membership, you’ll help more people living with motor neurone disease to get the support they need. You’ll help increase knowledge and understanding of MND nationwide. And you’ll help make sure research can one day find a cure.
However you want to contribute in the fight against MND, membership is a brilliant way to start.

When you become a member of the Association, we will connect you with your local branch or group. To find your nearest, just type in your postcode on the website here www.mndassociation.org/find-support.
What do we mean by local branch group?
Our branches and groups are local networks of volunteers who meet together to fundraise, campaign and to provide support to local people living with and affected by MND.

We’d love you to help us spread awareness by discussing all the great things you are doing on social media or by just talking to your friends, colleagues and loved ones.
How can i introduce my family and friends?

I don't have time to do the additional activities you've mentioned, is this a problem?
Not at all. We want membership of the Association to be for everyone so whether you are looking for support and information right now, or would like to do more, everyone is welcome and encouraged to join our community.
