Welcome to the Southampton and Winchester Group
This group covers Southampton, Winchester, New Forest, and the surrounding areas with an SO postcode.
The group is run entirely by volunteers and aims to provide the best possible support to local people with MND, their families, and carers.
We currently have six Volunteer Association visitor in this area who provide check-in calls, and emails and offer Face2Face visits if required. We also facilitate two support groups which we have found are the most useful ways to support as they provide Peer-to-Peer support from others who are on a similar journey with MND

Our Monthly coffee mornings are held on the third Monday of every month at AFC Totton, Snows stadium, Salisbury Road, Totton, SO40 2RW from 11:00 – 13:00 we invite people living with MND, their families, and carers to pop along for a chat and a cup of something warm and comforting... We are always happy to welcome new people to our meetings.
Our monthly group meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Oasis Academy, Romsey Rd, Southampton SO16 8FA. The monthly group meeting is where our members come together to discuss and share information for the benefit of the group. We try to have an external speaker join us every month to educate us on various topics ranging from MND research to Tai Chi. We are always happy to have new members join our group.
