Collaboration means you are heard.
The MND community is a powerful network, and we are proud of the role we play in it. We will find more ways to listen to you, to involve you, and to stand with you. You’ve told us you want more people to know about MND, and for MND to be prioritised by those who can help make things better. We will focus on this too.
As individuals, our voices can only reach so far. But when we come together, we know our voices can't be ignored. From relentless and targeted campaigning, to raising public awareness through celebrity fundraising, using our lived experiences to share ideas on how we can improve things for people living with MND, to contributing towards the future of the Association and the wider MND community. There are many things we can do together to ensure we are heard. Let's get creative, let's be bold, let's ensure our voices are heard.

This is your community, and we want to make sure that the logo we use is a reflection of our community's objectives.
We invite you to share your opinions on the graphics and logos we have used before. What works and what doesn't? Act to Adapt campaign
Timely home adaptations are vital to ensuring that people with MND can live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes in the time they have left to live. The Association has been working closely with people living with and affected by MND, campaign volunteers and local councils to push for this crucial change to become a reality as soon as possible.
Light touch: Can you help us spread the word by sharing our interactive Act to Adapt Housing Map? You can ask councillors to meet with you to discuss Act to Adapt in your area, encouraging them to support it.
Is your council meeting people's housing needs
More involved: Fancy taking on the challenge of influencing councils to improve the support they provide to people living with MND?

Success stories
United to End MND
United to End MND is a campaign led by people living with MND, the Association, MND Scotland, My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, and neurologists. This campaign has successfully secured Government investment of £50 million over five years into targeted MND research.
The Government made the announcement in November 2021 with Prime Minister Boris Johnson saying:
"We are going to throw the full weight of government, industry and civil society behind a new British-led scientific mission to transform the fight against this devastating disease."
Amazing! Thanks to the help, perseverance, and dedication of those leading the campaign.
