This learning will give you a good level of understanding of MND and the work of the Association. It is made up of 8 modules each of which take around 1 hour to complete. These can be worked through at your own pace and completed in smaller portions.

Live Classroom Training

Live classroom training is made up of four 2.5 hour sessions which will be delivered via zoom by our Area Support Coordinators (ASCs).

Session 3 - Challenges within your role

  • Having difficult conversations
  • Setting boundaries
  • Looking after you

Session 2 - Care and enabling effective communication

  • Our community based care and support model
  • Optimising our communication

Session 4 - Our key policies and the next steps

  • Respecting personal data and confidentiality
  • Understanding conscious and unconscious bias

You will sign up for a regular session, which will take place at the same time over 4 consecutive weeks.
