Our Scrap 6 Months campaign has been shortlisted in the Voluntary Sector Campaign of the Year category and Best Campaign in Northern Ireland categories in the Public Relations and Communications Association’s Public Affairs Awards.
And our very own Policy and Campaigns team has also been shortlisted in the In-House Team of the Year category.
The awards are the only ones in the UK dedicated to recognising the public affairs sector. The shortlisting recognises the tireless campaigning efforts of our staff, our volunteers and our supporters, with and on behalf of people affected by MND.
MND Association Chief Executive Sally Light said:
“To be shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious Public Affairs Awards is an incredible endorsement of the campaigning work the Association does. The success in three different categories recognises the strength of our collaborative efforts with Marie Curie on the Scrap 6 Months campaign, the positive impact of working so closely with our campaigning volunteers, and the professionalism of our very own Policy and Campaigns team.”
The award ceremony is taking place on Wednesday 24 November at the Hilton London Bankside.
