The Group is run entirely by volunteers and aims to provide the best possible support to local people with MND, their families, and carers.

Care and Support 

We help to provide care, support and advice for those living with MND and their families in the area, the LA postcode plus the villages of South Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Support Meetings

Our monthly support meetings are open to anyone in the area living with or affected by MND and feature speakers, presentations and displays.

The dates for our meetings are generally on the first or second Monday of each month except August 

The dates for 2025 are:

10th March         7th April

12th May            9th June

7th July               15th September

13th October      10th November

and 8th of December which will be our end of year party.

Time: 2-4pm
